    Come learn about the Great American Eclipse 2024! On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will sweep across North America from Mazatlán, Mexico through the United States and eastern Canada. We will look at the different types of lunar eclipses especially as these are more frequent and require very little equipment to observe. We will explore the wealth of information, pictures and videos available on-line from NASA.gov to the very user friendly “timeanddate.com”. And most important we will explore a variety of ways to observe the solar eclipse safely; pin hole camera, eclipse glasses, solar filters and welder glass and how to photograph it both still and video.

    Golfers of all ages are challenged to complete a 9-hole Mini-Golf Course set-up throughout the library! Early registration is not available. Tee times assigned upon arrival, and there may be wait times based on demand. Groups of 2-6 will start every 5-10 minutes. Last tee time is 1:30pm. Any group with children 5th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that the library will be open during this event!
