Shake & Shimmy Storytime
1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 9:30 AM
A music and movement centered storytime specifically intended for kids between the ages of 1-3 and a caregiver. The storytime would include 1-2 simple books as well as songs, dances and fingerplays that are easy for parents to take home with them.

Card Game Club for Kids
Select Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 PM
Join us for a monthly program for tweens and late elementary kids. Kids are taught a new card game every month (most using the standard 52 card deck) and then are given some time to play it. Games are meant to be fun, casual and something kids can play easily at home. For children ages 8-14.

Crazy 8s Math Club
Crazy 8s is a recreational after-school math club that helps kids enjoy the math behind their favorite activities! Crazy 8s is for kids of ALL math abilities- it is not math tutoring, homework helper or gifted programming. For grades K5-2. Registration is required and will be limited to 12 children per session.
The club will meet for a total of 8 weeks, on select Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 PM. February 2, 9 & 23; March 2, 9, 23 & 30; April 6
Graphic Novel Book Club
If you’re a kid who loves graphic novels, here’s a book club just for you. Just sign up to attend a session, read that month’s book beforehand, and come ready to talk about it and have fun! For kids ages 8-12.

Little Artists
Meets the last Thursday of the month at 10:00 AM starting in April.

Little Scientists
Meets the 2nd Thursday of the Month at 10:00 AM.
With their inquisitive natures and drive to explore the world around them, kids make natural scientists! At each session of Little Scientists, you and your child will get the materials you need to create simple – but fun and educational – effects.

Reader's Theater
The group will meet for a total of 6 weeks, on select Mondays from 4:30-5:30 PM.

Reader’s Theater is a fun way for kids to practice reading and performance skills by acting out roles in scripts adapted from picture books! Each student will receive their own script with their part highlighted to read from, so there’s no need for memorizing lines. For kids ages 6-8. Registration is required.

Build up your creativity and LEGO skills at the library! Share ideas, work together, and make new friends. Children ages 5 and up are welcome to attend. Bring a friend, no registration required!

Throwback Family Movie Matinee
The Frank L. Weyenberg Library introduces Throwback Family Movie Matinees! On select Saturdays at 10:00 AM each month, the Library will showcase family movies from previous decades to introduce new generations to some movie classics. All ages welcome. Children must be present with an adult (minimum 1 adult per 5 children). Feel free to bring snacks while you watch!

Unlock-the-Box
Do you love to follow clues and solve puzzles? Unlock-the-Box is an opportunity for children in grades 2-5 (2022-2023 school year) to work as a team to beat the clock and open the box before it’s too late! This program uses BreakoutEDU to provide a fun, educational experience for all involved. Registration is required for this program as space is limited.
