    • Every other Tuesday at 10:30 AM

STEM-at-Home

  • Tangram Jeopardy

    • Tangram is a geometric puzzle where a square is cut into seven pieces that can be arranged to create different figures. This game is created for the whole family to play together! Included are instructions for printing or making your own set of tangrams! Tangrams encourage pattern recognition and puzzle solving. To play, click the following link and on the top right corner select "Present." You can then follow instructions on each slide to play!

    • Do you love to follow clues and solve puzzles? This program uses BreakoutEDU to provide a fun, educational experience for all involved. BreakoutEDU has made many games available at home for virtual access. The games are for ages kindergarten through high school and cover a variety of subject areas!

Community PuzzleCommunity Puzzle image

  • Contribute your creativity to a community puzzle project this summer! Sign-up to receive and pick-up your puzzle piece at the reference desk in person or by calling the reference desk at 262-242-2593 ext. 320. Individuals are limited to one puzzle piece per person as supplies are limited.
  • Your piece is specific to you! Use markers (permanent markers like Sharpies work well) or other writing materials (please do not use paint) to decorate your puzzle piece with a design, a favorite quote, drawing, etc.
  • Have your puzzle piece ready to return to the reference desk by Saturday, July 25.
  • View the finished product on display at the library in August!
