SPECIAL EVENTS

Community Puzzle

  • Contribute your creativity to a community puzzle project this summer! Sign-up to receive and pick-up your puzzle piece at the reference desk in person or by calling the reference desk at 262-242-2593 ext. 320. Individuals are limited to one puzzle piece per person as supplies are limited.
  • Your piece is specific to you! Use markers (permanent markers like Sharpies work well) or other writing materials (please do not use paint) to decorate your puzzle piece with a design, a favorite quote, drawing, etc.
  • Have your puzzle piece ready to return to the reference desk by Saturday, July 25.
  • View the finished product on display at the library in August!

  • Preserving Historical Family Treasures and Materials

    • Do you have personal collections of significant materials that you want to maintain for future generations? In this webinar, Robin Carlson, a Senior Paper Conservator at the Wisconsin Historical Society, will offer tips and techniques on the storage and handling of family materials that include diaries, letters, photographs and ephemera.

Propagating House Plants

We’ll explore how to multiply plants by using methods such as hydroculture and petiole leaf cuttings. Come brush up on techniques you already know or maybe even learn something new!
